This picture of a much troubled Region is made by combining images from 2 passes of Metop A. The Data is received as usual from EUMETCast then Processed with David Taylor's MetopManager and HRPT Reader. The output from this was remapped in GroundMap, another of David's programs before further manipulation in Photoshop and MGI Photosuite to stitch the two portions together. I can see the join, but it doesn't detract from the overall impact.
